AVHS College & Career Fair – Juniors & Seniors

Date: Wednesday, March 4, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 11:43 a.m. (end of lunch)
Location: AVHS Gym

Juniors and Seniors, this event is for YOU.

• You will attend with your English class (Periods 2–5).

• If you have 1st or 6th period English, or are in the Early College Program, you may attend during lunch (11:13–11:43).

What Is the College & Career Fair?

You will rotate through the gym to connect with Colleges & Universities, Industry Professionals, Trade & Technical Programs, & Career Pathway Representatives

This is your opportunity to:

• Ask questions about careers

• Learn about college programs

• Explore certifications and training options

• Find out what employers are looking for

• Make connections for internships or future jobs

Guest Speaker Sessions (IMPORTANT)

In addition to the exhibitors in the gym, we are offering three Guest Speaker Sessions throughout the morning in various classrooms. You may sign up for: one session, two sessions, or all three sessions.

These sessions allow you to hear directly from professionals and college representatives in smaller classroom settings.

You MUST register to attend. Sign-ups open on Monday, February 23, and close on Thursday, February 26, at Noon.

Students should use the College & Career Fair Guide to review speaker descriptions before selecting sessions. After you have read through the guide,  please register here by Thursday, 2-26 to sign up for Guest Speaker Sessions. 

Students who register will:

• Receive a digital pass through 5-Star by Tuesday, March 3

• Go directly to their session at the assigned time

• Be excused from class (attendance will be taken)

• Return to class after the 30-minute session

Important Reminders

• Come prepared to engage and ask questions.

• Be respectful to presenters.

• Take advantage of this opportunity; this is about YOUR future.
